Experienced Advice You Can Trust

“I have cascaded the Inc. CEO Project Tools into my business.  I use the Decision BlueprintTM to report to my board and I have each of my Executive Team leaders use it to report on their functional areas.  It has been powerful to keep us focused.”

Steve Walker,

Walker Research

“When I go to a meeting with an idea of what I will do on a particular challenge, I often leave a meeting with a whole new idea of how to approach this issue. This can be the difference between growing more or less. I leave with new directions and the confidence that I'm going in the right direction. This is more than enough to justify my participation.”

A Process to Solve Your Company’s Challenges

All companies are unique – and yet the challenges that most CEOs and companies face are remarkably similar.

As a CEO, these are some of the key challenges and opportunities you are likely to face:

  • Improving your Business Model: how can you improve your business model to create more recurring revenue and improve margins?
  • Recruiting and Fostering Talent: how do the most successful companies enhance the value of their executive team so the CEO can concentrate on strategic issues to grow the business?
  • Developing Strong Processes and Systems: the best companies have robust, repeatable systems that drive growth. How do you develop these processes for your company?
  • Optimizing your Time: what should you concentrate on to really move your business forward?
What should you delegate to others?

At Inc. CEO Project, we have devoted years of time into understanding these key challenges and how to turn them into opportunities. With insight from our research and work, we have developed a proven, results-driven process and tools to help our member CEOs and their companies successfully grow.

Our process starts with charting where you and your company currently stand

- What’s working

- What’s not working

- What constraints stand in the way of growth

- What opportunities exist for growth

And continues by mapping out a path for growth

- Prioritizing and eliminating constraints

- Constructing a strategic plan and the tactics to achieve it

We help you understand your current state and your future path via monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with your Advisor and quarterly facilitated meetings with your CEO Peer Group. Each Peer Group meeting follows the same structure and employs the same tools to drive positive growth.

Tools For Success

The Inc. CEO Project process and tools work together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Our tools fall into two key categories:

1. Diagnostic Tools to define your current state, and

2. Strategic Tools to guide future growth and success

Your advisor will work with you at each step to put these powerful tools to use and your ideas into action.

Power of Your Peers Every Step of the Way

“It is not simply the brightest who have the best ideas; it is those who are best at harvesting ideas

from others. It is not only the most determined who drive change; it is those who most fully engage
with like-minded people. And it is not wealth or prestige that best motivates people; it is respect
and help from peers.”

-Alex Pentland, Director, MIT Media Lab Entrepreneurship Program

The collective insight and power of the Peer Group lies at the center of Inc. CEO Project member success. As a member, you will quickly find that the new perspectives and ideas you gain from your peers make your strategic plans more innovative and your priorities more focused. You will also find that your desire to meet the high expectations of your peers is a powerful motivator for success.

Our CEO Peer Groups are carefully crafted according to each company’s company’s size, complexity and the similar challenges these CEOs face. Each CEO brings his or her unique experience from different markets and industries and offers new insight to help other members address challenges. The advice you receive during CEO Peer Group meetings is innovative and practical – because it comes from your peers who understand your challenges and who aren’t afraid to disagree with you in order to help you achieve a better end result.

Peer Groups meet quarterly. At each quarterly meeting, CEOs update their peers on their business and leadership performance over the past quarter and their progress according to their Goal MapTM. Each member also shares his or her Decision BlueprintTM and discusses with the group how best to tackle challenges they are currently facing. Inc. CEO Project’s experienced Advisors facilitate these meetings to ensure the most effective peer review and exchange.

Experienced Advisors You Can Trust

We select our Project Advisors for their coaching abilities and executive level experience so they can relate to you as peers. We have all run our own companies and have broad and deep business experience. We help our member CEOs thrive and grow because we have been in your position and know what you’re going through. We will challenge your thinking, help you develop new ideas and provide you with unbiased advice.

Advisors hold one-on-one sessions with CEOs each month to provide personal assistance and reinforcement. This monthly one-on-one interaction helps you stay focused on how to best achieve your objectives.  During these sessions, we review the previous CEO Peer Group meeting, prepare for the next meeting, and assess the implementation of your strategic plan.
